I know the scripture but sometimes it feels like this, I know the plans I have for you to .... squash you like a bug.
This shows the danger of linking faith to feelings.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. Must endeavor to walk by faith not by feelings or sight.
I have felt squashed like a bug.
I still don't understand alot of the hard things I have been through, but I know that God's plan for my life is perfect for his will, and I have to fully trust him, and that the reasons (even if I never know them) honor Him.
I think that you can't trust your emotions. I think sometimes God gives us feelings as discernment, which are important to be sensative to, but emotions can fog up our vision.
I know God Knows whats best for me. I need to remeber that he has it all under control and He doesn't need me to step in. He needs me to trust Him!
Wisdom comes from God. Therefore we must 1st stay connected to God in order to make wise decisions. We have to be willing to get out of the way and let God move in our lives.
It still amazes me that an overwhelming peace comes with surrender. That peace that passes all understanding is there to surround us the moment we let go.
I don't find it hard to trust God in MOST things, but it seems there is always something I am not quite ready to let Him handle. It is in the midst of those battles that life tends to be the toughest.
You would think I would learn, but...
