Stewardship of Creation

As I talked about yesterday, for hundreds of years, the church has championed the beauty of God's creation, demonstrating in many ways how it points to the Creator. Sadly, over the last century those values in many Christians have slipped away. The charge yesterday was for the people of God to connect with God outside. He created and He deeply cares about creation. We need to care about what God cares about! So did you do it? Did you go for the walk with worship music? Did you read a creation psalm? Comment about the experience.

The rest of this week will be blogging about the Dominican so don't forget to check in and pray for us daily. Grace and Peace - and enjoy the Creator.

Dear Pastor Eric, Brian and I went for a walk yesterday. It was wonderful. I could hear children playing, the birds chirping, and seeing nature the way God created it to be. The sky was so blue with puffy white clouds and it was wonderful. I could feel the warm breeze around me and I knew that God was there wanting me to enjoy everything that he created. I thank the Lord for everything he has given to me, and may I appreciate God's creation everyday. I also read the creation psalm l04, because I enjoyed that psalm so much. It brought me so much peace. Pam

Hi,

I read Psalm 19. It was really inspiring. I never knew the Sun was in heaven. I also learned, You can take control of the sins you face in your life. I also took a walk with my mom. It was nice to see nature. It really touched my heart. I always realized, Creation is beautiful. Thank you Jesus for our new Star in our family. He is a great part of nature. Jesus has blessed me. Brian... :)
